At present, the automatic testing software is becoming more and more general, standard and modular. With the increasing request of automatic testing software, it is necessary to develop a kind of graphical test process integrated development environment. Graphical testing and control component is an important part of graphical test process integrated development environment. It can describe test process, shorten the TPS development period and expenses, it also enhance the test efficiency.Graphical testing and control component is composed of two parts, those are, instrument class component and operation class component. Instrument class components refer to instrument classification method of IVI class specifications. So the dissertation studies eight classes of IVI-4.x specifications such as oscillograph class, DC power class. The dissertation designs IVI-based instrument class components concerning users'operation requirement of graphical testing and control component. Graphical test process integrated development environment convert the components to ATML code. Then the dissertation take digital multimeter for example to introduce the realization of building frame, showing attribute, painting chart, transfer component, etc. The dissertation discusses some key technologies in developing process, such as code conversion technology and serial technology. At last, the dissertation designs and realizes calculate evaluation class, signal processing class and boundary testing class of operation class which are based on digital signals processing and modern time domain measuration.All those components have been debugged several times in graphical test process integrated development environment. The dissertation has taken Agilent 34401 and Agilent 34411 digital multimeter for example to validate feasibility of calling special drivers with application components. They all work well and achieve the purpose of design.
