Automobile speedily development will inevitably promote accessory enterprise progress. Then product quality is the key to the survival of the enterprise in the competitive market.Half bearing is an important part of automotive engine, the soul of car, so the half bearing quality has importance in the quality of automobile engine and service life.At present, the detection of half bearing is carried out by hand measure or eye survey in domestic corporations. This huge workload, imprecise and inefficiency detection play an adverse influence in controlling of product quality and improving productivity.Under enlarged scalable production, it is necessary to boost precision of process equipment, sensibly arrange production technology and advance detection levels to raise quality and control defective index. Through high precision and efficiency measuring, it can be timely which includes discovering the change rule, influencing factors on product quality and adjusting equipments of product line to make manufacturing closed loop process with quality as control parameter. So it is significant to excogitate Half Bearing Automatic Measuring and Picking Machine applicable in production field.Half bearing thickness automatic detector is composed of auto-feed mechanism, pneumatic location mechanism, auto-detector mechanism, auto-grouping mechanism and so on. Computer controls whole detecting process. The tolerance of bearing thickness just is five micron, as well as separated two groups, which is challenge to survey. The detection part is the key in entire system. In this subject, make use of four high precision inductive transducers laid on different two monitoring points. Differential detecting can eliminate adverse influence of location problem on checking technology, while monitoring two different points on bearing can help to control the whole product quality.Primary work of research and develop an Automatic Measuring and Picking Machine on Bearing's Wall Thickness as follows: programming and manufacturing an auto-measure flow line; planning detecting project and making key monitoring equipment; designing and establishing surveying electro-system; realizing rational control of whole system with PLC; exploiting interface neighbor, comprehensive, safe and dependable control software, meanwhile implementing data collection and disposal with up-computer; achieving research effort such as system assembly, debugging and pre-operating; making equipment pass key index identification such as monitoring accuracy, repetitiveness, reappearance and using apparatus in product field.Practice running in six months indicates the Automatic Measuring and Picking Machine works normally in product line, whose monitoring precision, efficiency and dependability satisfy the bearing manufacturer. This increases greatly the benefit and efficiency of product manufacture in large scale. Besides easing labor, this improves quality of products.
