High-frequence(HF)Radar, serving as a kind of method for detecting, is a important part in the military field. According to the points of high tech local war happened last several decades, especially with increasing emergence of indetectable, higher defending-ability is required more. HF radar suffers electromagnetic interference severely in waveband . It is very important to carry out the research of Radar signal designing and data processing method in order to improve the sensitivity and detecting ability of Radar system and to provide practical waveform and signal processing technology for future advanced Radar. In order to improve the viability of the system , this dissertation mainly studies the phase-coded signal and hybrid phase-coded signal designing and signal processing, including the following aspects:Firstly, systemic elaborate the pulse compression theory and phase-coded signal basic theory. Barker code, Frank code, P4 code and complementary P4 code are discussed. The study results show that the complementary sequence can be constructed by splitting the P4 code. The best phase-coded signal is gived by contrasting all the phase-coded signals. The design principles and thought of the phase-coded signal are given.Secondly, due to HF radar suffers electromagnetic interference severely in waveband, so a new waveform which is called phase-coded modulated by frequency hopping signal(PCMFHS)is proposed. The design principles and thought of the PCMFHS are given, design of waveform and parameter are represented, signal processing principle and simulation result is discussed.At last , on the point of view improving utilization ratio of bandwidth, pulse compression ratio and anti-interference performance. The Multicarrier phase coded(MCPC)radar signal is studied base on Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM)technical. The mathematical model is given, and the formation and properties of MCPC signal are analysed. The performance of MCPC signal constructed by different phase-coded is compared. The design principles and thought of the MCPC signal are given, design of waveform and parameter are represented. A two-dimension signal processing scheme for this signal is proposed on the basis of signal analysis. Simulation and design the MCPC signal base on HF radar.
