Currently, the realization of information communion between CAN-bus equipments and Ethernet network equipments becomes the trend of development industrial control field. The interlinkage between device network based on CAN-bus and enterprise information management network based on ethernet can expand the scope of sharing and increase the transmission rate of data.In the topic, a solution of a low-cost, high-performance Ethernet/CAN-bus protocol conversion system is given. Firstly, based on CAN-bus and ethernet development actuality, the purpose and value of the system was introduct. Then the principle of CAN protocol and Ethernet protocol are analyzed, filtrated and predigested based on the application of the system. TI's TMS320F2812 as the control module of this system have some advantages, such as high-speed processing ability, rich peripherals, with strong control functions. ethernet module is constructed by Realtek's RTL8019AS, this chip supports 10 Base-T Ethernet and 16 data bus format, so the connection with 2812 is very convenient. Use TI's SN65HVD230 as CAN Driver. The design of the hardware circuits have following aspects: The design of memorizer expand circuit, the design of supply circuit module, the design of reset circuit module, the design of serial portcommunication module and the design of JTAG simulation module. The software consists of three main modules: RTL8019AS drivers, TCP/IP protocol transplant, CAN-bus communication program. The thesis mainly discuss the software programming ideas and give program flow charts and data structure of some complex protocols. The software design is completed in Code Composer Sudio.In the end of the topic, the testing of the system is introduced, the test results are analyzed and some improved methods are present. Comparing with congener system, this system have some advantages, such as lower cost, simpler structure and better expansibility.
