Body Interface Study In Computer-Mediated Communication

Along with the development of computer-mediated communication and the virtual reality, the function of interface in the human-computer interaction has been taken more and more attentions. Body interface is a typical human-computer interface. It is provided with commonness of interface, as well as its own unique character.This paper attempted to process from interface, and after defining the concepts such as Computer-Mediated Interface, Computer-Mediated Body Interface and other relevant ones, it discussed computer interface and user interface respectively.For the side of computer, the paper discussed the software body interface and hardware body interface separately. In the software body interface, the paper presented its characteristics from the angle of essence and configuration based on cyber space's essence, and then classified it with examples by coding difference. While exploring its effects on user from the angle of human-computer interaction, the paper analyzed the embodiment trend of software interface. In the hardware body interface, the paper clear up interface's process from traditional human-computer interface to virtual reality human-computer interactive interface, and then presented the technical development of hardware body interface from users sensory perception in the angle of human-computer interaction, and finally, analyzed hardware body interface's developing trend on the basis of the embodiment of hardware interface and virtual reality interface personification.For the side of user, this paper introduced cyber user's characteristics, and then studied user has been in individual message communication space in the current classification epoch, and forwardly presented cyber user will cybernate initiatively and proved user body interface is disembodied, and finally concluded the cyborg tendency of cyber user body interface.After the discussion of computer interface and the user interface, and the analyses of reasons for the computer-mediated interface's embodiment via human beings'extension, psychology, aesthetics aspirations, technological development and economic efficiency, the paper demonstrated that the computer-mediated interface will be forward to embodiment and personification. Thus the paper reached the conclusion that the interface comes to disappear and future life will be the human-computer unites.
