"Digital Home" is a rapid developed concept which proposed in recent years. Along with a gradually closer to people's lives, more and more attention and studies are concerned, and many corresponding protocols came into being. At present in the digital home has made many achievements in various aspects, among which, audio and video entertainment is the closest part with our lives and also attracted many attention.The production of multimedia research is an important issue in currently multimedia field. Family environment multimedia production process widespread a contradiction between the ease-of-use and functionality, powerful media production software is often difficult to get started and complicated to operate, the opposite , easy to use media production software are often unable to meet the needs of users. How to develop a convenient and practical multimedia production system is in many researches efforts now.Digital home and multimedia productions which develop rapidly are two popular field of study in these years. Among various digital home protocols, IGRS, which has the widest domestic application, has many mature markets as well as the development and application of products after years of development.In this paper, the background to the study is based on the above two aspects, our goal is to facilitate the completion of a simple and convenient multi-media production in the digital home environment. Main research work includes:(1) Facilitate the multimedia production by using the I-HTSPN model which evolved from the Petri net model. We could get the multimedia files by the property-vested and organization of "places" and "transitions".(2) Research the IGRS protocol, by the packaging and integration of the IGRS protocol, we could facilitate the realization multimedia production in digital environment by JNI DLL call.(3) Adding generation multimedia interactive function, which allows users interact freely with the multimedia by petri process control, better information on the user display.(4) In addition, based on the realization of interaction, we made some research on intelligent adaptive displaying, and attempt to achieve a self-adaptive model.(5) Finally, indicate advantages and disadvantages of the I-HTSPN model application in digital home. Summed up the whole studies and researches in this paper, and supposes the related development direction to the future.Based on the two current most popular computer science field - the digital home and multimedia production, this paper propose a multimedia production in digital home method, which based on the I-HTSPN model. User's process of multimedia production and edit is simple and convenient. At the same time, this paper makes lots of explorations and attempts in interactive and intelligent adaptive positive aspects, which has great theoretical value and commercial applications. We believe that with the promotion of digital home and multimedia productions, this subject will become more and more important and valuable. So that the general users could enjoy the comfortable life.
