| SAE J1939 protocol is a CAN 2.0B based serial communication and controlling protocol, and is widely used on large vehicles in Europe and northern America. This thesis mainly concerns the research and implementation on the J1939 network management protocol. The research and implementation of the J1939 network management protocol is accomplished by using the experimental platform of CAN nodes. The design of the driver and hardware circuit of the CAN node is simply introduced. The network management protocol is mainly studied and the protocol stack software is presented. In order for the SAE J1939 protocol to be implemented, the electric vehicle communication network module is established. The structure of the electric vehicle system and the function of the parts are described in detail, the identifier of the electric vehicle messages is distributed and the communication of the electric vehicle is implemented. In order to improve the real time performances of the vehicle network and for better utilization of the band width, the application of the EEDF scheduling algorithm to the hybrid electric vehicle system is studied. The EEDF scheduling algorithm is briefly introduced, and a Visual Basic software is presented to implement the EEDF scheduling algorithm. The result of the scheduling shows that the network performance has been improved. As the SAE J1939 protocol is getting more and more popular within the Chinese automobile industry, the research of this thesis will serve good practical purposes. |
