Lubricate oil system plays an important role during normal operation of the turbine generator, and lubricate oil should be replaced in time because of its performance deteriorated caused by solid grain and water pollution, additive oxidation. However, there are few lubricate oil detection equipment with good performance in the market and the period of lubricate oil replacement has to follow product user guideline, which causes a lot of issues such as a waste of resource as replacement period too short or mechanical assembly hurts when period too long. Thus, multi-parameter detection system for lubricate oil is a product with a huge prospective market. This paper describes the indicators that affect the oil quality and common detecting methods, and introduces general research work to judge the oil pollution level by multi-parameters collection and analysis. The research aimed to design multi-parameters detection system with high accuracy and reliability. Multi-parameters detection system could measure viscosity, dielectric constant, density and temperature of multiple slave stations at the same time. The key steps in research include:lubricate oil quality sensor selecting, hardware circuit designing, software designing, J1939-21 protocol stack implementation in CPLD and sensor network building with CAN Bus. It is worth mentioning that J1939-21 protocol stack implementation in CPLD is innovative and helpful for extensive application of CAN Bus.After system test in laboratory, multi-parameters detection system has been used in GUOHUA power station in Zhejiang province. Performance of detection system was pretty good and detection result was accurate.
