Research And Implementation Of Voice Browser System Based On VoiceXML Language

The fast development of Internet has enhanced the boom of net-based services. But the inadequate popularity and easy-operation of the computer fetter the advance of Internet. Voice Browser System can provide people a new and easily accessible net-browser mode. It uses mobile phone as the information terminal, which has a great popularity already. Voice Browser System broadens the development of Internet and brings a new revolution in the net-resource field.The VoiceXML language proposed by the W3C organization is the base of the realization of Voice Browser System. The rapid development of voice techniques including auto speech recognition(ASR) and text to speech(TTS), provides measures for people to communicate with the platform. And the database technique and Web technique are also indispensable to the system. This dissertation analyzes these techniques and combines them into the Voice Browser System.Based on the completion of system model design, this dissertation has designed and implemented the VoiceXML-based Voice Browser System with Visual C++. I used open source software OpvenVXI as the interpreter for VoiceXML language for the sake of convenience. The ASR module will not be realized because of the high price of ASR product, but this does not affect the integrity of the system.
