In recent years, mobile information technology has been made a rapid progress, the amount of mobile phone users has turn up a explosive increasing. Somebody estimated that there will be 1 billion mobile phones in use in 2005. Under such circumstance, people become more and more intrested in capable of visiting internet by mobile phone in anywhere and at anytime, it has already become a general expectation, too. We can predict that it will be a popular way to visit internet by mobile phone under the help of voice technology.VoiceXML is a kind of internet language based on XML, it can help poeple to develop voice user interface. Poeple can visit internet easily by mobile phone but not the interaction between keyboard, monitor and the applicable program under the help of this kind of voice user interface.This paper has a general introduction of system framework, application feature and function speciality base on criterion of VoiceXML. And oriented by train industry, drived by voice application, we design and implement the train timetable auto voice query system based on voiceXML. This paper mainly works as below: Research technology of Voice System, design and construct Voice Bowser based on VoiceXML. Put forward and implement VUI design of train timetable auto voice query system based on voiceXML by UCD method. Utilize JDBC and Java servlet, implement visit of web and database. Finally finish Hangzhou train timetable auto voice query system based on voiceXML by IBM websphere.
