The Analysis Of The Capacity In PHS Network Optimization

PHS(Personal Handyphone System) is a wireless communication system which developed by ARIB(Association of Radio Industry Businesses) of Japan.Almost 90 millions user's network of PHS have been setup in china. The network optimization become more and more important alone with the network growth.It always follow the method of GSM when we do the analysis of the capacity in PHS network optimization,but this method have some defect because they have some different characteristic,specially,PHS use the multi-layer cover.This defect will cause bad effect to network optimization.This text try to point out these defect,base on the basic theory of PHS network and the basic theory of wireless transmission,try to summarized a set up method to calculate the PHS network capacity and make a example for it.System synchronization will have big impact to the system capacity because PHS system use the self-adapting method in using the frequency and slot time.This text try to analysis the impact and point out how to test the synchronization.Additionally,this text expatiated the impact to system capacity of two new service of PHS network,"Packet mode" and "seamless handover PS".
