Along with the development of grinding process in our country, the AE (Acoustic Emission) technology obtains the universal attention in the aspect of ceramic work piece grinding process. It turns to an important research area of the modern manufacture system for using them to monitor grinding processing condition. In order to enhance the efficiency of grinding process and improve the quality of product, the research of AE signal is extremely essential for grinding processing, especially presetting and feed method in grinding process.Firstly, this paper introduces the development and actuality of engineering ceramic machining method, grinding monitor technology, AE technology, and induces the research condition of AE technology in grinding processing, then, outlines the basic theory of AE technology. Basis of this, it proposes the idea of experimental study of AE in the wheel setting monitor and feed control method for engineering ceramic work piece grinding process.The paper discusses setting monitor method of wheel in detail, illuminates the shortage of setting monitor method and why they can't be used in the engineering ceramic work piece grinding process, and puts forward a method of making use of AE technology to do it.The paper carries on project argument and system design in the application on the grinding machine, via contrasting various work platform characteristic and precise feed control method. To avoid the non-linear of the platform's output and other factor during grinding, an open-loop and a close-loop control system are designed, applying fuzzy PID algorithm whose parameter can be adjust by itself in the control process. the result proves that the feed control method which is simulated with Simulink has a high accuracy and a quick response under the close-loop control system.According to the experiment condition, cost and the equipments, a control system which can position in grinding process of engineering ceramic work piece is established. The system uses MCS-51 series single chip as central processor, an inductance sensor as feed back. The system is a modularization design which has drive and inspect module .The hardware and software of control system are presented and satisfy practical demand. |
