Chaos is a phenomenon that generally exits in nonlinear system; chaos movement has many characteristics, such as high sensitivity about initial value, movement track ergodicity, randomicity and so on. The ergodicity characteristic of chaos can make as a kind of optimization mechanism in the optimization design. According to the ergodicity and the regularity, chaos optimization adopts chaos variables to search in a certain range, causes chaos variables searching to jump out the local minimal point, and then reaches the global optimal point. The system optimization based on chaos has become a new global optimization technology.At present, chaos searching optimization mostly adopts Logistic map as chaos searching variable, when searching space is small, it has remarkable effect, however, when searching space is large and searching time is long, its efficiency is remarkably dropped. Aim at the problems that Logistic map is adopted as chaos variable makes searching speed is slow and chaos variable is sensitive to the searching space exists, one-dimensional map adopted as chaos variable is proposed, The simulation results illustrate that one-dimensional map adopted as chaos variable is easy to choose the searching space of optimization parameter, and boost the searching speed and optimizing precision.Aim at the problems that the chaos optimization algorithm based on logistic map fails to optimization exists, when optimization parameters are very complex and ergodic space is big, a new chaos optimization algorithm that adopted simulated annealing algorithm time-varying parameter z (t )is proposed, The simulation results illustrate that the new chaos optimization algorithm can succeed to get the optimal, despite optimization parameters are complex and ergodic space is big.Industrial system generally adopts PID controller, whose control effect have a very close relation to the choice of control parameters and parameters setting is very complex. However, traditional parameters setting methods always depend on experience method and can not get the optimal parameters, which generally need online setting and have big calculation. Based on the chaos optimization algorithm, this paper mainly researches the parameters setting of PID controller, then proposes the concrete steps of PID controller parameters setting and carried on the simulation. The simulation results illustrate that the new chaos optimization algorithm has many merits, such as stabilization, meovershoot smaller, adjusting time shorter and so on. Compared the new algorithm with the chaos optimization algorithm based on Logistic map, the new algorithm is better than chaos optimization algorithm based on Logistic map in the searching speed and stabilization.
