The control actuator is an importance portion of the missile control system, the performance directly influence whole performance of the missile. Conventional control algorithms cannot satisfy the control requirement, because of much nonlinear element in the control actuator. As a kind of new-style intelligent algorithm, the chaos optimization algorithm hah been got extensive attention and studied. It had got applications in some field, and had good applied prospects. In the paper, the chaos optimization algorithm application in the control system of electro-mechanical actuator was mainly researched.Firstly, the basic theory of the chaos dynamics were briefly introduced, the basic thought of the conjugate gradient method and the chaos optimization algorithm were analyzed. A hybrid optimization algorithm based on the two methods was proposed, and a kind of the control strategy for PID controller and for neuron PID controller based on hybrid optimization algorithm was designed, and the two kinds of the control strategy were simulated. The simulation results had shown the feasibility and validity of the control strategy.Secondly, the mathematical models of the direct current electromotor and harmonic gear speed reducer and the elastic loading and the friction moment were created. The three-closed-loops control system, which includes a position loop, a speed loop and a current loop, was proposed with the engineering design plan, and the control system was simulated. The simulation results indicated the engineering control programme cannot satisfy the control requirements in the condition of the elastic loading and the friction moment.Finally, according to the characteristic of the three-closed-loops control system, The parameter optimization systems for the electro-mechanical actuator was designed, and the position loop of the control system was simulated with the PID control strategy and the neuron PID control strategy based on the hybrid optimization algorithm. The simulation results indicated the two kinds of the control strategy had the advantages of stability, small overshoot, fast response and short setting time. Especially, it could adapt itself to the control system of the electro-mechanical actuator in the condition of the strongly nonlinear.The research results have some important practical value in the engineering.
