Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is the second of synthesize resin production in the world. It is widely applied to the products such as chemical industry, drug manufacturer, food manufacturer, etc. In China,the production technique of most enterprise is not good as that in developed countries, such as small production, poor control system, etc.Many plants still have employed 30m~3 polymerization kettle, resulting in many disadvantages for example large investment, high cost and intensity. Therefore,it is important in quickening Macro-scale production and employing advanced control technique in the process.Relating 100000-ton-a-year PVC of Zhuzhou chemical industry limited company PVC factory of CHINA Salt Group, discussed the production characteristics and process control requirements. Based Zhejiang University SUPCON JX - 300X DCS configuration software models and SCKey , discuss DCS hardware configuration, software configuration, the main control system design and the reliability of system . Based on the language of SFC , research and solve feedback control and sequence control integration of 70m~3 polymerizer, formula management software and batch control software module development. In the control strategy, for polymerizer reactor temperature control loop control researched and designed the Cascade + sub-control method, control accuracy to±0.1℃.Since the DCS distributed control system ran in September 07, it has been achieved the following objectives: science, standard formula management; fully automated control; security high reliability and low failure rate.
