Overall, there are three innovations in "Moving China", a large-scale program held by CCTV annually, which the figures moving China in the past year are elected. Firstly, the program itself is an innovation to the programs concerning person election. In the program, the only criterion "moving" is explained multi-ethnically, the figures elected are characterized by multi-ethnic and grassroots. There are also breakthroughs in planning and making the program, including cooperation and coordination of different departments and multi-media. Especially, the editors make great effort to not only the content but also the form in the whole process, and show proper atmosphere by using deferent scenery elements.Secondly, in reporting the candidates and the winners, the program artfully grasps the audiences' psychologies, intimately meets the requirements of spirit and moral of the audiences, focuses on the human nature of the candidates, forming a co-relation between the actress and the audiences, attracting them to take part in the election and making the winners accepted by all the people, which is an innovation of reporting typical characters.Thirdly, the editors combine awards and news report together and, in enhancing the quality of the program, they focus on brand packaging, successfully building a "spirit brand" for the television media.The program insists on the right values. Firstly, it shows diversity of culture in all the aspects-cultural structure, level and type.Secondly, the program insists on leading right public opinion and guides the public to foster correct values and positive, progressive, energetic attitude towards life.Thirdly, in making the program, the editors insist on people-oriented thoughts, pay attention to embody and reflect humanistic care in the program, and win the fondness of the audience.However, there are potential crises in the program, including: some other programs of the same type have appeared which bring forth competition; the credibility of the program was questioned and, further innovation is needed.
