Research And Application Of Metasynthesis Supported Information Integration Platform

Information integration can realize the effective unification of heterogeneous information sources over space or different application systems, which provides information services such as unified management and sharing with integrated and unified way. Information is mainly used for decision making, under the complicated society economy, politics , science and technology, law and culture, meta synthesis has become a key method to do information unified management and effective knowledge acquisition. In complicated decision cases, adopting metasynthesis method to realize the transfer from qualitative knowledge to quantitative model, and building man-machine platform to support experts' decision-making discussion are bringing important effects into informatization construction and decision-making support field.Focus on the integration of heterogeneous information sources, after the comparatively analysis of traditional integration methods and the current research situation of metasynthesis, concerning with the accordance between metasynthesis and information integration, we propose to build a metasynthesis supported information integration platform, and utilize knowledge map to support the integration of heterogeneous information sources and metasynthesis discussion. Our study content mainly includes the following points:(1) Analysis of information integration, metasynthesis and the current situation of information integration in water conservancy, has summarized the applied key technologies on platform, and analyzed the demand on business and function on information integration paltform, and designed a metasynthesis supported information integration platform.(2) Considering theories of knowledge management and knowledge visualization, we propose that taking knowledge map as the tool for heterogeneous information sources integration and metasynthesis discussion, defined four elements and their function of knowledge map, concept, relationship, connecting line and hyperlink, also defined the establishment regulations and created examples of knowledge map.(3) Designed a four layers platform based on technologies as components, web services, P2P, grid, XML and personalized interface customization. On support layer, using grid and P2P to realize free sharing of source, realized the integration of data source based on resource layer, on information meta synthesis layer we regulated the composition and management of discussion flow, proposed the model integration methods, also use Xml, Report, Web, GIS and statistical graphs to meet the personalized information and knowledge expression demands for users.We adopt technologies such as components, Web services , P2P , grid, Xml and personalized interface customization, the platform provides information services and knowledge based decision-making using knowledge map, in order to do convenient and deliberately sharing, scientifically and comprehensive decision making.
