Antenna is the preceding set of the communication system, its parameters mainly determine the overall performance of the system. For they work on each other, they have to be compromised in the project design. Sidelobe is one of the key parameters, The lower sidelobe could improve the SNR(Signal-to-Noise) and depress the effect which brought by the signal out of the main beam, and they can highly enhance the anti-jamming performance of the system. So the low sidelobe antenna is the hot and difficult topic in the antenna arrays design. It is a key component of modern Radar.In this paper, the work is focused on the mutual coupling according to the design. And it amends the design parameters via two routes by using the HFSS software which subjected to Ansoft Company to give a dependable reference and making use of the testing parameters. First, this paper introduces the main performance parameters, and then analyses the relationship between them., next it introduces the knowledge of the antenna arrays theory, then it gives a introduction of the common methods used in design and it brings forward a method to design the antenna, on considering of the design theory and the practice, it works out the antenna in the end. After machining and testing, the results were satisfied.
