The Spatial spectrum estimation technology is the main area of the array signal processing.In practical applications,non-ideal characteristics such as array errors and mutual coupling can cause the algorithm performance to deteriorate seve rely or even fail.Compared with other error forms,array element mutual coupling is a typical array steering vector error,and it is also a type of error that has a wider impact and is more complex to handle.Therefore,it is of theoretical and practical significance to study error estimation and correction in the presence of mutual coupling.In view of the above problems,this paper conducts research on mutual coupling compensation and low mutual coupling array angle estimation algorithms.First,an array antenna model and a mutual coupling model are constructed,and the steps and principles of the classical MUSIC,Root-MUSIC algorithm,and DOA matrix algorithm in the spatial spectrum estimation algorithm are given.The eigenvalue ceriterion,the information theory ceriterion and the Gauss circle ceriterion in the number of source estimation algorithm are derived.According to the characteristics of the algorithm and the model,the angle estimation algorithm of online mutual coupling correction and the angle estimation algorithm of low mutual coupling nested matrix are studied respectively.Aiming at the algorithm for the estimation of the mutual coupling on-line correction related angles of the19-element hexagonal triangular grid plane array,the mutual co upling coefficient matrix is given,and the joint estimation algorithm of the angle of arrival and the mutual coupling coefficient without the auxiliary correction source is derived,and the Necessary conditions for mutual coupling parameter estimation are given.Next,a two-dimensional angle estimation algorithm for low-coupling nested arrays is studied for parallel nested planar arrays.The DO A matrix is constructed by using the differential characteristics embedded in the auto-correlation matrix and the cross-correlation matrix.Without any nonlinear search or parameter pairing processing,the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the matrix are used to estimate the two-dimensional angle.Finally,a 19-element hexagonal triangular grid smart antenna test system is constructed to verify the angle estimation algorithm.The real sampling data of the whole array are used to verify the mutual coupling online correction algorithm.And the partial array sampling data are used to complete the performance verification of the low mutual coupling nested array.The actual measurement results verify the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
