With the extension and development of power system capacitance, the more requirementsare necessary for the reliability of power system and the monitoring, managing of powerequipments. The advanced PLC and computer had been applied in the transformer substationsystem which can increase the reliability in this thesis. This method replaces the old relay controlmode that bases on the manual operation.A scheme of the admixture control system is designed in the transformer substation. Namely,the lower computers adopt S7-300 PLC and the programming software Step7 v5.3 for the localeequipments'logical control and data capture, the higher computers adopt IPC and theconfiguration software WinCC 6.0 to control the lower computers, also for the captured datas'displaying, recording, enquiring, dealing with alarm information and printing report forms etc.besides, with MPI and PROFIBUS-DP field bus to realize system communication. these canimprove the automation process and reliability.In order to improve the system power supply reliability, the higher and lower computersadopt redundancy and online back-up mode in the design, the probability of system powercutting is reduced greatly, anti-jammings are also solved in the practice.In addition, appling the PLCSIM and WinCC6.0 simulation softwares, the correctnesssimulation of running program for the transformer substation is completed., the result accordswith the design requirements, and it proves the reliability of power system.
