Research And Realization Of Wireless Video Supervisory System Based On CDMA2000-1X

For the sake of supervising unattended equipment which is difficult to cable, the paper presents and realizes a kind of wireless video supervisory system based on the CDMA2000-1X network. The system integrates a variety of technologies which are developing very soon, such as embedded system, wireless network. The system achieves to transmit video pictures through wireless network, and conquered the disadvantage that conventional systems need complex cabling. So it can be widely applied to various fields.As to the hardware, the paper establishes the embedded control platform for the supervisory terminal based on AT91RM9200, and designs CDMA network interface unit, video data and temprature collection unit. The processor connects the CDMA network with CDMA DTU, and establishes the channels to send the MPEG-4 video data and the real-time temperature to supervisory server. In CDMA interface unit, MG815+, which is produced by ZTE, has been used. In video compression module, MPEG-4 encoder IME6410 has been used.As to the software, Linux operating system is transplated to the processor, and the driver of every module has been included, the function of PPP dialing-up and corresponding program has been achieved too. The server is a computer which has a fixed IP address on the Internet, it carries out the function of sending user commands, receiving and dealing with data packet.The test result of this supervisory system indicates that it works normally and reaches the design goales. This proves that the method is feasible, and the system can be used broadly for supervising unattended equipment, such as high voltage transmission line and oilfield.
