| Under the multiple pressure of State macro-control intensified and the increasingly fierce market competition, Anhui Construction Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (ACEG) business management must depend on powerful data analysis for the formulation of development strategies, the changes of business style, the exploitation of business, how to avoid operational risks and how to enhance the quality of business. The enterprises need urgently improve data extraction and analysis capabilities which can provide strong support for management decision. Based on the analysis of the status and difficult of ACEG business management, this paper studied on the ACEG decision support system (DSS).The paper's main tasks are as follows:(1) Some research was developed which was about the theory and technology of DSS, data warehouse (DW),Online Analytical Processing ( OLAP ) ,data mining(DM).The appearance and development of DSS, basic concept, configuration and system framework of DSS, the development methods of DSS were introduced. The characteristics and model of DW, methods of OLAP and DW were also introduced. The business decision and DSS, database and DW, DM and DW were compared respectively.(2)The demand and model of DW were analyzed in detail. Design objective was defined that was to enable policy makers to access data directly, to organize data by the theme of analysis and decision-making. According to the need and analysis of the successful bidder, concept model, logic model and the physical model of DW were designed, and multi-dimensional analysis about business management was achieved.(3)Based on the DW model design, the framework of the ACEG DSS was completed. The functions, physical configuration and operational framework of DSS were designed according to the ACEG facts. The application of decision tree classical algorithm to the business management of construction domain was investigated. These have some reference to the development of ACEG business management DSS. |
