Regarding many components' extrusion forming, blanking in constant weight is the important condition and premise of realizing precision form, but present, blanking almost carry out in constant length. The length is longer, the influence of diametrical error is more, moreover the semi-finished products'section exist different shape errors. The precision of present blanking method is very low, the automation degree is not high. Some certain important components demand semi-finished materials'interior do not have flaw or the flaw is small enough, but the present crack detection is mainly completed by the crack detection labor. This kind of crack detection method is totally depended on worker's experience, the efficiency is low and the reliability is bad.Based on the above two aspect's request, this article proposed blanking in constant weight based on the machine vision and the ultrasonic testing system. The main content of this paper is listed below:â‘ Mechanical system. This paper takes the GZ4225-band sawing machine as the subject investigated, analyzes the flaw of the original blanking way, and redesigns its blanking mechanism, using the servo motor-driven, the guide screw transmission way to realize the blanking process, which increases the blanking precision greatly; and designs the crack detection organization additionally, using stepping motor to drive crack detector probe head in order to realize the swinging and rectilinear movement.â‘¡Machine vision system. This article mainly introduces the section of system hardware (including photosource, CCD camera, image gathering card), image processing algorithm and the development of software system.â‘¢Ultrasonic testing system. The ultrasonic testing applicable scope is broad, the sensitivity is high, is harmless to the human body, the utilization is convenient, and can get the crack detection result at any time. This article mainly introduces the principle of ultrasonic testing, the selecting principle of crack detector and the method employed.â‘£Kinetic control system. This article mainly includes the control plan the formulation, the section of kinetic control card, electric motor's choice, the installation and debugging of the hardware system and control.
