Integrate EMCCD And USB

Because EMCCD integrates electronic multiply function into the chip, it get smaller volume and higher signal noise ratio than normal CCD. IF it can be used as terminal of astronomy observation, it will take much benefits on SNR and limiting magnitude,,Also, because USB interface is flexible for using, and have high transmission speed, have low cost. So, many periphery have been using this interface as standard connection. So, it will have high realistic significance, when EMCCD and USB can be integrated.According to the structure of CCD camera, this thesis is divided into six chapters: The first chapter investigated the improvement of EMCCD and USB; The second chapter introduced the principle of CCD; The third chapter introduced some important function modules of A/D chip. The fourth chapter introduced some basic concept of USB and some structures of USB chip. The fifth chapter introduced the structures of CCD camera system, both its hardware and software. The sixth chapter introduced the research progress this CCD system and our work plan on this CCD camera in the future.I got many comprehend about flow of CCD development and established some practice experience for high speed CCD camera system development.
