Design Of Desktop Conferencing System Based On IP Network

With the development of internet and multimedia technology,increasingly importance has been attached to video conferencing based on IP network. In this paper, we analyze the characteristics of video conferencing based on IP network,proceeding from system functioning structure and design discipline to explore into key technology about system realization, especially multimedia and communications technologies, and give implementations.This thesis has six chapters. Based on c/s model desktop video conferencing, discussing several key technical difficulties, including system functioning structure,real-time transmission protocol,video/audio technology,date connection mechanism and conference control, detailedly analyze the way to realize them . Firstly, the background on the subject and study significance introduced in the NO. I. Then exploring into system function, design system logical model and system operation procedure in the second chapter. The third chapter proceeding from the characteristics of network transmission, research into the technologies to quality assurance for transmission .main including: multimedia code technology,multicast technology,Flow and traffic control maneuver,mistake recover mechanism,double buffer technology,medium synchronous. The fourth chapter's content is discussing the present main video/audio compressing algorithm and realization. The five chapter's content is designing conference management and realize date connection, for example, the realization of the writing exchanges, whiteboard, and document delivers. Last, the six chapter's content is summary and outlook.
