Modern communication network is very complex, always including transmission, access, exchange, data and power system and network. The multiple speciality integrated network management is the keystone of network management field. As the basis of network daily maintenance, fault management holds the balance of network ordinary running.A fault in network may result in a series of alarms, but not all of the alarms indicate the fault. So it is necessary to analyze the alarm relativity, in order to confirm the root cause of the fault.However, because of the complexity of multiple speciality network, the timely, deep and exact alarm correlation analysis is accordingly complex. Firstly, a fault in a kind of speciality network may result in not only alarms of other equipments in the same network, but also alarms of other relative speciality networks, which brings the increasing of alarms. At the same time, the number of alarms increasing brings lots of useless and duplicate alarms, which does not increase the valid information for fault dealing, but disturb the network maintenance. So it is hard to analyze alarm correlation and confirm faults. Now it is very necessary to find a valid method of alarm correlation analysis in multiple speciality network.Based on analyzing multiple speciality network structure and alarm classification, this paper brought forward a method of alarm correlation analysis in multiple speciality network, which is model-based analysis method, then set up alarm correlation analysis models, finally designed and implemented an alarm correlation analysis system to verify the method.
