Study And Design Of The Independent Tourism Information System Based On GIS

Tourism is one of the most dynamic and potential profession, which is has leaped to the world's largest scale industries. It is pop industry in many developed countries, and become prior development industry in developing countries and regions.Nowadays,with the development of knowledge economy,information has become the lifeline of tourism and the key factor of advancing world economy and social all-round development.Because of richful tourism resources in our country,there will be a prosperous prospect if we could develop and utilize these resources to develop tourism. In pace with being a number of WTO officially,our tourism will also face a lot of new opportunities and challenges.It has become an urgent matter for us how to make use of this turning point to set up a perfect system ,and to use information technology for the enhancement of the availability of tourism infrastructure information ,the increase of information quantity as well as the improvement of information quality so as to make our tourism meet the maket and head for the world.This paper will focus on the study and discussion of the application of CIS (Geographic Information System),in the system , which the principle of ITIS(Independent Tourism Information System) will be merged into.Take certain province as its study area ,the corresponding ITIS will be set up ,and then testified as well as carried out.The main work of this thesis go as follows: (1)According to the need of realistic problem, the paper will make a comprehensive and systematic analysis. On the basic of analytic comparison among data storage pattern, database system and GIS module,the paper will fix the programe adopted by ITIS,which is based on GIS,and finally propose system function module and the implementation plan.(2)Based on the analysis of data characteristics, the paper collect,classify and dispose the datas form the study area,and then organize,store and manage those datas in certain structure,and finally found the ITIS.During the process, space data and attribute data will be managed by SQL Server.(3)According to characteristics of tourism and network analysis of SuperMap,the paper propose the optimization function for independent tourism.(4) After designing system, the paper will complete the application demonstration design of Henan Province Tourism Resources. The system will aim at the tourists and tourism managers by integrated re-development and achieve routing of independent tourism by the estimated function.The ITIS provides a kind of feasible measure for countrywide tourism information survey and a favorable assistant for tourists who are fond of self-driving .The system is a live digital cicerone or guide and have beautiful application foreground.
