TMS320DM355 is the latest embedded video process chip released by Texas Instrument at the end of 2007.ICX204AK is a CCD of 850K pixels released by SONY.It has the benefit of vivid color and high SNR etc.Therefore, it has much usage merit and will be widely used.The research work is mainly about the design and implement of the high resolution digital video presenter system based on TMS320DM355 and ICX204AK.Firstly,it describes the basic theory and wide application of embedded system,embedded video process and digital video presenter.Then it introduces the correlative technology of SONY 850K Pixels CCD set.Secondly,it detailed introduces the structure and function of embedded video processor TMS320DM355,especially about ARM Subsystem and Video Process Subsystem.Then,it puts forward the design and implementation method of the common high resolution digital video presenter based on SONY 850K Pixels CCD set,including the software and hardware design and debugging of every module.Then,after combining the structure and function of TMS320DM355 and ICX204AK,it puts forward a new design and implementation method of the digital video presenter based on popular video processing chip TMS320DM355. It detailed introduces the software and hardware design and something to be careful etc.After that,it introduces Boot-Loader booting procedure,how to build and boot TMS320DM355 Linux operating system. We searched and read lots of material about high speed hardware design and our circuit is composed of DM355 core board,DM355 expended board and CCD video capturing board.The DM355 core board is a 10 layers routed board while the DM355 expended board and CCD video capturing board are 4 layers. When designing this board,the anti-interference capability is much considered. To improve the overall performance,components with high quality is chosen.To improve the stability of both hardware and software,the following method is introduced in system design:Techniques concerning low-power reset, anti-electronic-magnetic interference and thermal pad;Multi-layer PCB routing, which makes a compact structure and arranges signal layer next to ground layer; Analysis system,plan system block diagram and design flow chart according to the method of software project.This greatly decreases error conditions.
