At present, the visualization technology has been widely used in many fields , such as medicine, molecular chemistry and biology, computational fluid dynamics, finite element analysis, meteorology, geophysics, and other areas of scientific research and the national economy etc. However, the conventional visualization model, which just makes use of local resources or single resource for data processing,and does not take full advantage of high-performance computing resources, storage resources and information resources on grid. With the development of Web Service and Grid Technology, it has been achieved preliminary studies and proved its feasibility and effectiveness using the application of Web Service technology into visualization field. Nevertheless, the new issue is that the state properties of visualization resources has not been embodied in Web Service, due to Web Service is stateless. The emergence of WSRF has efficiently resolved this problem. WSRF is a set of specification, which declare, create, access, monitor, change and destruct Web service resources by the mechanism of Web Service, at the same time, keeps the stateless of the Web Services. Current related research is still in infant stage, it's very necessary to research In-depth and systematic. Applies WSRF into the visualization field is a brand-new idea, and is also the innovation of this dissertation.In particular, there is no report about WSRF-Based visualization. This dissertation is a relatively systematic research on how to apply WSRF into visualization field. The main works that I have done included as following:(1) anatomizes the-state-of-the-art of the development of visualization,introduces the Web Services and Grid, summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of Web Service and illustrates the importance of WS-Resource.(2) proposes a method to classify the visualization resource into Computing Resources, Algorithm Resources and Result Resources. designs the Visualization WS-Resource, realizes the encapsulation of visualization WS-Resource based on WSRF. Visualization WS-Resource maintains the state, and the state is stored as properties of the resource.(3) designs a WSRF-Based visualization model, which includes Server and Client. The Server provides some operations as create, access, destroy on visualization WS- Resource. The Client chooses the satisfactory visualization to complete the visualization task by query the state of visualization WS-Resource.(4) analyzes a large amount of the stock data in the field of financial, implements an algorithm to deal the original stock data, this algorithm is a part of visualization resource. validates the feasibility and efficiency of the WSRF-compliant toolkit for visualization system through the nearly 20 years stock data of four company.
