Wireless mobile Ad Hoc networks are a kind of newly arisen network technique, they have the ability to organize the network alone and can be used in many environments, for example, military area, law executing, and disaster rescuing fields etc. Now Ad hoc networks have become a very important research field in recentyears. The Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) is a proactive routing protocol, which is applied in the mobile Ad Hoc networks. The protocol is an optimization of the classical link state algorithm tailored to the requirements of a mobile wireless LAN. In this kind of routing protocol, regardless whether having the correspondence need, each node broadcasts the grouping message periodically, adopts exchanging routing message each other, and forms a routing table finally. Each node forwards the topology information such as the "Hello" or "TC" message periodic. While in the progress because of some reason, such as existence malice or invalidation or inserted invalid control information some nodes will result to the integrity and safety of the network. Comparing with the other related research, the thesis guarantees the integrity and the security based on the mechanism of identity signature, and the main contributions are described as follows:(1) Analyzes the appearance, the actuality, the characteristics, the development, the research hotspot and the application of the Ad Hoc networks, and makes an in-depth study on the security of OLSR protocol in Ad Hoc networks.(2) Makes an in-depth study and research on the OPNET network simulation, and discusses the modeling of OPNET, the flow of simulation and the application of network simulation.(3) Elaborates the inferred knowledge both in the cryptography and the network security, designs the security of the OLSR protocol, and a kind of improved security of OLSR relied on Identity-Based Signature for Ad Hoc is also proposed.(4) Models and simulates the new protocol IDBS-SOLSR based on the network simulation tool OPNET.(5) Discusses the architecture of AVISPA (Automated Validation of Internet Security Protocols and Applications), LPSL2IF and HLPSL. Meanwhile the script of IDBS-SOLSR Protocol is coded by HLPSL, which is validated in Linux system. The main characters and innovations of the thesis are described as follows: (1) An improved protocol IDBS-SOLSR based on the public-key cryptography algorithms of the mechanism of identity signature is proposed, which implements the digital signature and provides such security services as data integrity, sources reality, avoid juggle and anti-replay attacks and so on.(2) The improved protocol IDBS-SOLSR is simulated by OPNET, which is an international network simulation tool, and the results indicate the network time-lapse of IDBS-SOLSR protocol is smaller than that of RSA-OLSR.(3) In the end, the improved protocol is coded by HLPSL, which is a formalization description language, and the experiment results indicate that the protocol can meet the requirement of the safety.
