With the rapid development of computer communication technology, and the complex and diverse of system software application's needs, the component-based distributed application development technology has been widely adopted. Current popular distributed object model including Microsoft's DCOM, OMG's CORBA and SUN's RMI. These technologies have played a very good role in the enterprise networking solutions. With the development of distributed processing technology, the application brings new demands about current technology. Such as higher transmission performance, scalability, configuration's flexibility, as well as work together with other different technologies among different platforms, running on the Internet and etc. The use of a single isolated technology is unable to fully meet the new demands of the enterprise application.Web Services and .NET Remoting are typically two kinds of distributed application technologies under Microsoft's.Net strategy. Web Services is a new, Internet-based distributed computing mode which provides a language independent, cross-system, high reusability, loosely coupled ideal distributed applications solutions, allows applications to achieve interoperability in different operating platform. Remoting technology, as an abstract process communication mechanism, allows applications to across the application border to call object methods and share data objects. Compared with DCOM, .Net Remoting is more flexible, and supports more transmission protocols, more powerful and scalable framework that allows developers to more easily create customized, robust distributed systems.By comparing the differences between the two typical technology, combing advantages and disadvantages in each applications field, and taking non-ferrous metals companies scheduling management system as an example, this thesis presents an integrated distributed application solution in .NET Framework. In the enterprise intranet .NET Remoting technology is used, when exchange data with external data network application use Web Services technology. Facts have proved that such methods can achieve higher transmission performance, and meet data interoperability requirements under the heterogeneous platform.First of all, this thesis analyzes the relevant application technology. Then the non-ferrous metals companies scheduling management system is taken as an example to give the detailed realization of production processes, business management, organizational structure and functions of different parts. And also the thesis discusses the disconnect mechanism for data access, enterprise libraries, statements and database technology, in the enterprise production management systems. Because large-scale non-ferrous metals enterprises has a wide range of users, the geographical dispersion cause the enterprise marketing management for not timely data acquisition, data sharing and the leadership of the sale comparatively backward and many other issues. Therefore enterprises urgently need a broad geographical scope distributed systems to manage their transportation and sales operations, and raise the level of management. So,combining the relevant module distributed expansion's requirements, the application of distributed technology based on Web Services and.NET Remoting in building the enterprise distributed platform structures and application integration is discussed at last, aslo the security of the system services and related issues are considered.
