The Research And Implementation Of Occupation Skill Testing Authority System Based On J2EE Architecture

With the rapid development of the Internet and widespread application of the Web, The automatic information management becomes possible in the Occupation Skill Testing Authority (OSTA) departments.To promote the development of the system along scientific, automatic and networking management, it is deadly necessary to develop a new OSTA system which corresponded with actual needs in Occupation Skill Testing Authority department.The thesis is based on the project of a large-scale iron and steel company's OSTA system. In view of the situation of low efficiency, inaccuracy and fallibility during the OSTA departments handmade data process, The solution which is based on JSF,Spring and iBATIS should be pointed out. Combined with the latest Web technology,the OSTA system has realized IT management, which should share the whole information with original human resource system.Main areas researched and discussed are:Firstly, the development situation of the OSTA system has been analyzed in this thesis. And next, pointed out the necessity of the system which applied in iron and steel company as well as the exact researched prevalent open source frameworks: JSF,Spring and iBATIS. Then, concluded the advantages and feasibility of the three frameworks according to their individual features.Secondly, thoroughly elaborated the business process of the Occupation Skill Testing Authority, and conducted overall system design along with functional module dividing. Followed by the establishment of the system database according to the instruction of database design principle, which based on the relationship and requirement of different functional modules.Finally, the enrolment management module of OSTA system has been implemented by using JSF,Spring and iBATIS frameworks. Based on the system hierarchical architecture , separately introduced the implementation of enrolment module through presentation layer, business logic layer and persistence layer. To assure the reliability of the system, systemic testing has been carried out.The important part of the thesis is an integrated infrastructure which is based on JSF, Spring and iBATIS: JSF that handles the looser coupling of the whole infrastructure, Spring that takes responsibility for the complicated data processing in business logic module, and iBATIS that takes care of reducing the difficulties in business model part. With the looser coupling between layer to layer or complicated business model part, the system has compatibility, reusability, extensibility, and easiness of upgrade and maintenance.
