The Research And Application Of Service-Orient Grid Workload Management Middleware

Grid is regarded as a next-generation Internet, upsurge of research and development on Grid computing technology attracts more and more personnel and organizations to join in recent years. With the development and influence of WEB technology, Grid computing can integrate the distributed resource by standard Grid service. It is an important challenge that the Grid service cross multiple area can execute some complex tasks, which need to be modeled and scheduled by distributed Grid service. Service-Orient Grid workload management middleware is a tool for Grid application fast developing, and will be sticking point whether Grid computing can be applied cosmically or not.The paper first depicts two Grid workload management middleware, which are PBS Professional and batch workload management system of Platform (LSF) specially. Then take Web Service technology into account, it introduces a new Service-Orient Grid workload management middleware: we adapt Session Director to handle identity authority information and manage the life cycle of Session Manager in the middleware. Session Manager is responsible for the life cycle of Service Instance Manager, and responsible for information routine, resource assignment and workload management between client and compute node. Service Instance Manager finishes the management of the whole life cycle of Service Instance. What after we put forward some application methods take the CrossLanguage Grid service for example.
