Web Server Design Of Embedded Monitoring System

With the increase of people' s requirements on working circumstance and the safety of living environment, DVS - digital video server gains more and more attention. On the anther hand, the development of the embedded system, multi-media technology, and network technology provide technical support for the research and development of the embedded DVS system. Web server system provides long-distance control and video monitoring for the DVS system.This dissertation discusses the web server system design in Digital Video Server System. First briefly introduces the structure of the DVS system, and then focus on the design of the web server system.Chapter I Introduce the history of the Security Surveillance Systems and the web server, raise the main research content.Chapter II Discuss the Web server system related technologies and its platform related technologies, including the HTTP protocol, dynamic pages technology, as well as the hardware platform of DaVinciHD, software platform of embedded Linux.Chapter III Talks about the hardware and software architecture of the DVS system, the architecture of the Web server. By comparison, the Web server system use Lighttpd + CGL + Ctemplate + Ajax design strategy.Chapter IV Focuses on the configuration of Lighttpd, the design of CGI process, the inter-process communication and the Ajax technology.Chapter VI Introduce a series of software testing method, analyse and compare the effect of different methods in this system.Chapter VII Summarize the research works of the dissertation, and give the prospect of further research work.
