Research Of WINDOWS Network Protocol Drive Implementation

With the continuous increase of network application requests, people put forward many new requests about the safety and maneuverability etc of using the network protocol in the WINDOWS system. Currently the network protocol has been already unfit for the network application requests in the WINDOWS system. Therefore, the network protocol drive in the WINDOWS system has been the emphases of research. This article will discuss the design realization of network protocol drive in the WINDOWS system.The thesis focuses on the development of the whole and module design of simple network protocol drive. A simple protocol drive is carried out on the basis of the summarization and analysis on the basic thought of network protocol drive development. First, the related research background and the present status of WINDOWS Protocol-Stack are introduced. Then the NDIS interface is studied, and the NDIS miniport drive and the NDIS protocol drive layers are explained respectively. On the aspect of the TDI drive interface, TDI basic operation and interface contexts are the main points. Moreover, the WINSOCK standard and WINSOCK DLL interface are studied and analyzed. Finally, the basic thought of network protocol drive development is summarized and a simple protocol drive is carried out.The thesis carries on the design realization of the special application simple network protocol drive in this foundation, describes primary data- structure and function process. Creates a point-to-point test and validates.
