In the field of modern AC servo system, the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) has such characteristics as higher efficiency, lower moment of inertia and the ability to run with full speed. The PMSM servo system is widely used in the field of robots, position control, and the machine tool control with high performance.The high precision complete-digitized AC servo system based on Digital Signal Processor (DSP) has become the center of research and the tendency of AC servo system development owing to its flexible control, high intelligence, easily modified parameter and convenience of distributing control. This paper has studied and analyzed the PMSM control system. To meet the demand of the high performance controlling system, vector control is implemented on the system and present several fuzzy controls. The result of the simulation suggests that the above mentioned controllers have adaptability, and the ability to resist interference.The TMS320F240 DSP controller specifically optimized for motor control applications. The PMSM control system is designed with the superior processing capabilities and the combination with motor control peripherals, and the PMSM AC servo system fuzzy controller is realized with the TMS320F240 EVM board . We analyzed the experimental results, and proposed method to improve system performance.
