In order to adapt the market competitions and meet the needs of management, organizations spend a great deal of manpower and material resources to carry on information construction. But the information systems are relatively independent which results in difficult information sharing and bad flexibility. These information systems are named "information isolated islands". The organizations need to integrate these heterogeneou systems to make these systems share information and realize business coordination and application integration. This paper firstly carries on an overview to the information system integration, elaborates each layer's problems of the information system integration and explains the merits and shortcomings of current popular technologies and achitectures.Secondly new integration method—service oriented achitecture(SOA) is introduced, and supporting technologies and integration advantages of SOA are elaborated in detail.Combined with SOA design thoughts and technologies, this paper puts forward oriented application service integration architecture (OASI). Compared with other integration achitecures, OASI considers all the layers of information systems, from client access, retrieving data, to safety authentication, adopts the layer-analytical method to make different layers solve different integration problems, integrates the design patterns into the integration architecture to get loose coupling and good interoperability between layers, and elaborates in detail each layer's supported technologies and design methods.Aim at the key of OASI- "black box" model and process service engine, this paper improves "black box" model of traditional workflow, puts forward the adaptive workflow model based on BPEL4WS. Web services become traditional workflow's activity node, and BPEL4WS is used to descripe process services. And what's more, control rules are used to deduce uncertain processes. So the model can be used to integrate heterogeneous systems and has adaptivity and flexiblity. This paper improves formal description method of original "black box" model. Negative semantic rules are added into control rules to examine process validity. And this paper designs process-combination algorithm. Based on formal description, the key factors in the model are oriented object programmed to deduce process recursively and reversely base on the given input and output activity nodes. Algorithm test is carried out which proves the correctness of algorithm. At last, OASI is applied to urban rail traffic control and dispatch integration system, which proves good feasibility and interoperability of OASI. Summaries are carried on to the full paper. The problems which need further research are pointed out.
