Since the 1970s, the deep reform and great changes of publication communication field were caused by the innovation of digital technology, such as laser phototypesetting system and internet technology. Entering a new century, with the development of mobile phones and related technologies, publication by mobile phone will become a more advanced digital publishing after the electronic and network publication .Publishing by mobile phone has not only changed the form of publishing media and content, but heavily impacted on the method, the industrial structure and even the idea of publishing. It has brought not only uncommon impetus and opportunities, but also great challenges to publishing development. The market of mobile phone publication has great potential, however, how to utilize the huge user resources for further development and improve on profit model is this study sought to explore and answer questions.Based on this understanding, this thesis begins with the introduction of the changes that digital technology brought in the mass communication field. Then, the thesis reviews the changing process of publishing communication under the digital condition which clears up the technology and history background. On this basis, describes the basic content and the extension of publication by mobile phone. Chapter two investigates the changes which publication by mobile phone brought for the traditional printing and publishing area. This investigation indicates the difference and fusion between publishing by mobile phone and the traditional publishing, and introduce four specific types of publication products by mobile phone, it enrich the variety of publishing as well as provide more choices to people's reading and consumption patterns . Based on discussing the characteristic of publishing by mobile phone, Chapter three further analyzes the influence that it brought in publishing industry and media morphology from mass communication angle. In chapter four, the thesis provides author's own view on how to deal with the problems and discuss the tactful ways.The thesis reviews and analyzes the publishing by mobile phone as a whole system. From this way, the understanding about digital changes in publishing is integrated, the advices which focused on the whole publishing by mobile phone industry but not some certain publishing method, which can avoid narrow understanding and incomprehensive strategies. Another point of this thesis lies in the change of information transmission path and ways, which induced changes in the media morphological. The viewpoints in this thesis have certain theoretical value. The analysis and suggestion in this thesis will also benefit the publishing practice in the future.
