This paper introduces the rotating machinery fault diagnosis and the basic common sense of time-frequency analysis, a detailed study of a new method of time-frequency analysis Hilbert-Huang Transformation (HHT), aim at its mode mixing and false component using the improved algorithm -improved mask method and mutual information, and the inherent mode function enveloped spectral method is applied to fault diagnosis of rolling bearings. From two sides of simulation and experiment showed that the Hilbert-Huang Transform in the vibration signal of the time-frequency analysis superiority.In the basis of theoretical analysis, and experimental data through on-site device simulation rolling typical fault, a lot tests to a series of fault signals. By Hilbert-Huang Transform processing the acquisition signal, access to a variety of fault signals in the time-frequency characteristics of the following studying provides a useful reference.
