According to the present management status of Haiyang Power Supply Company, and based on the demand analysis, the main operation flows are sumed up, and the whole design of management information system (MIS) is completed, which is divided into 13 subsystems. Then person management system is developed based on actual requirement. Through requirement analysis and system designing, the goal and the corresponding database are established, The database is divided into the following 7 kinds: the basic data information sheet, the personal records data, the statistic analysis sheet, the wage data sheet, the insurance data sheet, the country electrician data sheet and the authority management data sheet. Finally, by analyzing and comparing the current empoldering tools, PowerBuilder6.5 and Oracle8.0.5 is selected for the former empoldering tool and the background database respectively, the person management information system is developed, with the function being made up of a system maintenance module, personal basic information management module, and personnel management module, personnel information statistic and analysis module, wage management module, insurance management module and country electrician management module.
