Research On Infrastructure Optimization Strategies Of Metro Optical Transport Network

Now the telecom business on network develops explosively and the entire business trend to converge. These make metro optical transport network develop rapidly. So, it's very important for optimizing infrastructure. This paper studies the metro optical transport network infrastructure optimization strategies. My focus is put on the optical cable network's optimization strategy.The previous optimized work mainly profited from the operator's successful case of the developed zone and the practical experience, but lacked of the theory support. In view of the above questions, the business forecast and the optical cable network program are optimized with the mathematic method in this paper.Unified with the practical experience, the corresponding optimization strategies are proposed. It provides a scientific methodology and theoretical foundation for optimization work.In the study, two methods are emphasized: the method of the business forecast based on the mathematical model and the method of the optical cable network optimization analysis based on Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). In the part of the forecast analysis, several commonly used mathematical models and their matlab program are given. Meanwhile, all the application methods are concluded; in the part of the network optimization analysis, that the optical network must be constructed by layers are firstly proposed. The different network layers' optimization strategies are mainly analyzed by AHP. And the optical cable network program is concluded. In addition, the strategies study also concludes a great deal of practical experience.On the basis of the research on optimization strategy, a business operator in metro optical transmission network infrastructure optimization program has been completed. And the example has been cited. Through analysis of the status quo, business forecast, the scale of construction, the investment estimation has been calculated. The feasibility of the proposal has been evaluated according to the technical specification and financial status. Finally, my own idea about the development of network has been expressed.
