| With the continuous development and improvement of the embedded technology and communication technology, mobile phones, the typical combination model of the two kinds of technologies, are becoming the focus of design and innovation. To adapt the need of the modern society, related courses are opened in many universities. A design system-based programming platform teaching system is produced here. The system aims to design a platform for universities, reasonable in price and advance in technology, and to meet the double demands of teaching and development.Based on the research of hardware and software system, basic features of mobile phones platform and basic core requirement are researched. The produced mobile phones platform can be divided into three parts.1. Hardware system platform: including communication module, ARM-based application treatment module and I/O module. They each can support individual performance. Uniform interface rule is adopted. Therefore, they can cooperate with each other. The kind of module design can benefit the development, debugging and upgrading.2. Software system platform: including Bootloader, drivers of operating system and GUI. The four parts can operate individually and jointly. During design, considering the difficulties of development and maintenance cost, flexible measures can be adopted.3. Application software: including the communication protocol-based software development and programming.Overall design and debugging are accomplished in the research and all functions of mobile phones programming development platform are realized. Corresponding experimental guidance handbooks are compiled for each part. The platform was applied successfully in teaching practice nowadays. |
