The 21st century is known as the marine century. With the great growing demand of marine exploitation, the requirements of Underwater Acoustic (UWA) technique becomes more and more urgent.The research on the Underwater Acoustic Communication Network System has been one of the hotspots in worldwide. The Underwater Acoustic Communication Network node is an important component of underwater acoustic communication network system, with the mission of communication, detection, early-prediction and so on. However, the underwater acoustic channel is complex with the characteristics of time-space-frequency varying, and it exist difficult problems such as the strong multi-path interference, the high noise background and so on. So, it is a challenging task to design and implement the Underwater Acoustic Communication Networks node of high-reliability, high-speed and low power consumption, and also it has a great significance.To design and implement the hardware of Underwater Acoustic Communication Networks node, the thesis is based on the Underwater Acoustic Communication Networks. In this thesis, the acoustic communication network node architecture and technical indicators are studied, and the hardware platform solution scheme of system is confirmed. In the platform, it includes circuits of analog, on duty, signal process, and memory. Through the backboard connection, these circuits form the hardware platform. The main work of thesis is the design of hardware and the implement of the software about these circuits. Finally, the debugging of whole hardware is expected to be accomplished.The analog circuit is designed with chips of OPA348, AD 8260 etc. It is composed mainly of amplifier and filter with the purpose of weak signal conditioning. In circuit on duty, MSP430 is the main control unit (MCU). With the program, the circuit performs signal detection function. The memory circuit CPU is the ARM9. The Windows CE operating system is loaded in ARM, therefor the platform of basic hardware and software is established. The whole thesis achieves designing and implementing of the hardware of UWA Network node. Then the data stream of the system is gotten through. The system is debugged as a whole. According to the results, the expectant hardware design requirements are achieved.
