As the development of motorcycle industry in our country, the exportson motorcycle are increasing. At the same time, the exhaust emissionsfrom motorcycle are severe topics. What's more important is thattwo-stroke cycle is used widely in motorcycle made in China. It's wellknown that the air pollutants produced in two-stroke cycle are inherentlymore than ones generated in four-stroke cycle. The government makes somestrict plans about environment conservation. The toxic emission andfuel consumption could be prominently reduced by the new ECU technique.So, the research of ECU must be held with high regard in internalmotorcycle enterprise.First, it is presented that the analysis of the controlling principlessuccessfully used in existing ECU. And then, author give a new ECU systemadapted for motorcycle, including Single point spraying, damper opening-speed type, air intake spraying, open-loop control system. Under thenew idea, the hardware part of ECU is developed with MC68HC908SR12 usedmaster chip. How to devise and achieve the ECU software part aredemonstrated in detail.Finally, the monitoring system for ECU is devised and research, whichis functions of real-time adopting, saving, monitoring and modifyingdata on line through RS-232C port to ECU. After processing above dataand simulating the optimal work point for all cases, it give a directionhow to control engine.
