Though the auto engines of the medium-to-high grade cars made by the big automobile manufactures almost have adopted the electronic fuel injection technology in our country.But none of the home automobile manufactures has the intellectual property right about the electronic fuel injection (EFI) system. The home automobile manufactures depend on importing foreign product line of EFI system or fitting the foreign ECU system directly supplied by the foreign manufacturers.The paper has discussed its current development situation of the EFI system, it also has carried out relevant careful research and analyzed to the composition structure and the operation principle of the ECU and the sensors including the control principle and control strategy about the EFI system. It has analyzed the control demands of the real-time operating status under the best burning rate of atmosphere to fuel, the theory of injecting fuel, ignition timing and the ignition ahead angel demand of various operation status of the auto engine.This paper has carried out the simulation study of the EFI system mainly dividing into two parts, one part is the design of the ECU hardware simulative former, the other part is the control algorithmic design of EFI system.The design of the ECU hardware simulative former is mainly simulating a real operation condition of the electricity fuel injection system. There are three parts made up of the hardware simulative electricity fuel injection system. One part is the simulative sensors circuit provided with the simulative signal of different sensor to ECU by using signal generator, the second part is the simulative executor display circuit; the last part is the signal collection circuit responsible for collecting and transferring thesignal.On the basis of the corresponding control logic and control algorithms of EFI system, the control algorithmic design of EFI system is to built up the simulative control model of the EFI system under the simulation environment of Matlab/Simulink by utilizing the module and the control toolbox offered by Simulink Library.Finally by conducting the experiments with connecting the ECU simulative hardware former to the control model of the EFI system, we obtain the simulation result by amending the parameters, the control logic and the control algorithms on-line.By studying the simulation the EFI system in this paper, it can save various kinds of manpower and materials spending on developing & debugging the EFI system, it also can build on a solid foundation of developing our own EFI system independently in the future.
