The power system harmonics problems with power electronic devices changed the broad application of the increasingly prominent. Harmonic suppression and reactive power compensation issue has become an urgent need to address the power system problems. Passive filter and will combine active filter consisting of Hybrid Active Power Filter, harmonic compensation system helps to reduce the initial investment and improve cost performance, to better the purpose of harmonic suppression .This paper studies Parallel Hybrid Active Power Filter system. First parallel hybrid active power filter system structure, compensation principle of a detailed analysis. We will determine based on the instantaneous reactive power theory of harmonic detection method .Then focus on the inverter circuit of the PWM current control methods, major hysteresis current control of the principle, the switching frequency is derived their formula, the analysis of the factors constraining switching frequency on the basis of, vector used to achieve optimal voltage hysteresis current control. The final part of the system design, the main circuit parameters deduced the approximate formula, and in Matlab / Simulink environment simulation, test results showed that the hybrid active power filter system on the power system harmonics compensation has good compensation effect...
