With the rapid development of the power electronics, more and more power electronic equipments have been used in most fields. In these equipments there are most nonlinear loads. The pollution in power net is serious, the real-time harmonic compensation becomes more and more important..The active power filters is a new harmonic and reactive power compensation equipment which was brought forward in 1970′s , compared with the traditional L-C filters the active poewer filters have the merits in rapid reflect,better compensation and the ability in dynamic compensation.In this paper the development and application of the active power filters,the classification of active power filters and the principle of active power filters are introduced . Then the pq method which is based on instantaneous reactive power theory,the improved harmonic current detection based on instantaneous reactive power theory( i p ? iqmethod),the harmonic current detection based on synchronous reference frame transformation have been analyzed . Several control strategies used in shunt active power filters such as triangular carrier waveform control,hysteresis-based current control,instantaneous current control under fixed frequency have been researched, and the characters of them have been gained through these analysis.The shunt active power filter which uses the i p ? iqmethod and the hysteresis-based current control strategy has been simulated, and analyze the inductor and the cut-off frequency which affect the performance of shunt active power filters.On the base of theoretical analysis and simulated research, the shunt active power filter based on TMS320F2407A has been designed, meanwhile the software and hardware have been introduced in detail. Initial research on the shunt active power filter has been done. |
