Research On Effective Implementation Of Information Technology Infrastructure Of Library In Domestic Banks

How Information technology services for human society effectively has become one of the most important research areas from the last 1960's; however, in the humorous methodologies, there is always be a lack of a detailed manual of IT operation management phase, which has been exerting influence on business directly. Based on the reason above, British central computer and telecommunication office has developed and released the best IT service management practice in the last late 1980's, which has gradually evolved into IT infrastructure library.That Chinese financial industry has to improve their IT system and service is due to the reasons below. In one aspect, the market competition is unparalleled fierce, and Chinese enterprises, especially some large financial enterprises, have to change their business continuously and rapidly, which is increasingly dependent on IT system. In the other hand, according to China negotiating condition to access to WTO, Chinese financial industry will be open to the whole world in 2006. Thus, the application and research on IT infrastructure library is a significant issue in Chinese financial enterprises.A study of the theory and methodology of ITIL is given in this paper, basing on the implementation experience and theory of the last decade. The detailed research is listed below:1. First, a introduction of ITIL management ingredients is given, which include capacity, configuration, help desk, problem, modification, software release, accidence and expense management. In addition, a preliminary analysis of IT infrastructure of academic banking is made.2. The author describes the design and technology of ITIL implementation, which includes some necessary parts of IT management, such as centralized storage, centralized monitoring, configuration management and how these parts integrate together.3. A study of the theory and method of centralized storage implementation, which include the principle, infrastructure, implementation steps of the SAN.4. An analysis of requirement, objective and design of centralized monitoring module is made, and a description of centralized storage of the head office and branch is also given. In addition, monitoring indicators of operation system, database, middle ware is listed in detail.5. The ITIL configuration management module is given, and the database entity of configuration management is preliminarily modeled. In addition, we also describe the functions of configuration management.6. A research is made on centralized monitoring, centralized storage, configuration and helpdesk of capacity management, usability management, and asset management.7. A description of the realization of helpdesk is given, which includes problem management, modification management, release management of helpdesk. Some cases of process design, position design of knowledge base is also listed.8. An expatiation on project management, organization framework, and project method of ITIL implementation is given. The author also proposes some principle of how ITIL and IT rules integrate.
