With the wide application of the power electronic device in industry, the harmonic current produced by that is injected into the grid and influences the normal work of the electric equipment. The problem of harmonic pollution has become an important issue of the quality of power supply. The traditional Passive Power Filter (PPF) or Active Power Filter (APF) has its own advantages and disadvantages. Consisted of PPF and APF, the shunt Hybrid Active Power Filter (HAPF) has combined both advantages perfectly, that makes it has a low price and good performance. This structure can realize the harmonic compensation of high capacity in a little active device capacity and make the semiconductor power device of lower voltage duration can be used to a high voltage safely. It compensates part of fundamental reactive power as well as obtaining a good effect of harmonic elimination, that make it has a wide development and good prospect of application.Aiming at request of harmonic control, this paper has proposed a new hybrid active power filter, it has a large reactive power compensation ability but a little inverter capactiy, this paper has analyzed its work principle and builds the topology structure model equation and switch function model equation of the HAPF.The harmonic detection is a key link, the calculation delay and low pass filter in many kinds of harmonic detection methods will cause large influence for the control and system performance of the APF.on the basis of ip-iq arithmetic, this paper has done extension application and simulation as well as analysis for it, the simulation result has proved the practicality and validity of the arithmetic.This paper has done research for the control strategy of hybrid active power filter. on the basis of complete analysis and discussion for the structure, principle and design method of HAPF, it has analyzed the Adaptive Fuzzy PI Control, Adaptive Fuzzy Immune PI Control in detail, the simulation result has proved the practicality and validity of the arithmetic.Accroding to the application example of HAPF in some substation, this paper explains the topology structure and controller design in detail, it alse gives the result of the field application.
