The Design And Implementation Of Program Dissemination System Based On Satellite Digital Movie-line

The evolution of information technology accelerates the development of the high definition television (HDTV) all over the world. More and more countries are ready to build or have already implemented HDTV projects. China is no exception. In China, several ways are used in enjoying HDTV, such as HDTV in cinemas, HDTV channels, handset with HDTV function, decoder supporting HDTV with VGA card and so on. But they all cost too much.To resolve this problem,a program dissemination system which receive and play HDTV based on DVB module and IPBOX is put forward: HDTV file is multiprotocal encapsulated in head-end system, utilize the data multicasting way of satellites to transmit HDTV. Then data is received and parsed in DVB module and transmitted to IPBOX through USB interface, data is restored to file and is put on hard disk, HDTV file is played in IPBOX. The system will not occur the bottleneck problem of bandwidth and it can realize that data information of the file covers a large scale. This system has advantage on transfer HDTV for single direction with large amount users. The system is used in country and communities. It only cost 2 to 10 RMB pre HDTV.In this paper, the technological background on which the scheme bases on is introduced at first, including DVB data broadcasting standard,multiprotocal encapsulation and USB2.0 data transfer. Second, the design plan of the whole system is discussed, including system requirement, hardware design and communication method. Then the software design is explained, including head-end system software, DVB module software, USB driver program and file receive mechanism. At last, system performances test results are gave.After Debug and test on DVB-S platform, the system function is validated.The program dissemination system can work constantly and stably at 10Mbps rate.
